Product Spotlight - Terrific Products For A Halloween Party

Introduction

Halloween parties remain a popular fall event. Since Halloween falls on a Saturday this year, the number of parties should greatly increase. Having the right food and decorations makes a party much more memorable, so look into terrific products for a Halloween party.

Food, Drinks, And Serving Items

Candy is always a favorite at Halloween parties, with candy corn, chocolate bars, and eyeball gummies adding to the festive fun. Hosts can also serve cupcakes or brownies with black and orange frosting, and use cookie cutters to make cookies shaped like ghosts or monsters. For drinks, offer pumpkin spice coffee or tea for adults, and green or orange juice for kids.

Arrange the food on a tombstone-shaped serving tray, and use Halloween-themed plates, utensils, cups, and mugs. Drinks can also be served in a pumpkin punch bowl, and kids will love sipping through straws topped with witch's hats or skulls. Fill bowls—like the Lounging Skeleton bowl from Mud Pie—with candies and snacks for an extra spooky touch.

Costumes and Makeup

The majority of Halloween parties involve costumes. Hosts and partygoers might dress up in traditional costumes, such as witches, monsters, ghosts and vampires. Others might dress up as popular movie characters or celebrities. Some people prefer a simpler costume that mainly relies on makeup or fake blood, so they'll pose as skull faces or zombies. If you don't wear a costume, you can wear a Jack O'Lantern or ghost shirt or sweater.

For accessories, women might wear spider earrings or a witch's hat. People can wrap themselves in torn linen sheets to appear as mummies. Children enjoy glow-in-the-dark bracelets and necklaces and girls wear princess tiaras.

Indoor And Outdoor Decorations

Indoor and outdoor decorations can make your Halloween party stand out. Orange and white outdoor lights, fake tombstones, and garden goblin gnomes add life to your yard. For a tech twist, try a fog machine and a Bluetooth speaker playing eerie sound effects (i.e. spooky music and screams). Inside the house, you could use ghost or Jack-O’-Lantern balloons, streamers with fake spiders and cobwebs, and throw pillows with ghost and witch designs. Dress up the living room table with a Halloween-themed tablecloth and a pumpkin or skull centerpiece. Some hosts go all out with animatronic figures that light up and make sounds, perfect for both inside and outside, such as this life-sized witch from Haunted Hill Farm.
